Kingdom Kids
The children in our Kids ministry are between the ages of 2-13. Most of them are privileged enough to be from stable homes.
Our Kids Ministry Team and leaders are well equipped to identify the ones who do need help. Regardless of the area of need we have a Registered Counselor whom sees to these needs with the parent/s consent. Feedback is then provided to the Senior Pastor. He deals with the information received as needed. Should further counselling be required involving the parents, it is arranged. There is no time limit on this. The aim and end result stays the same: healing for body, soul and spirit.
That being stated we are committed to educating these children covering the following principles and values:
-
Respect for self and others
-
Basic and decent Christian morals and values
-
Building them up and encouraging them
-
Establish the way of thinking that they are good enough and capable of doing whatever they set their minds to
-
Hard, honest work ethics
-
Enjoying life
-
And most importantly: they are loved by us and by God.
Although these are our common goals, we also intent to identify the leaders among them and disciple them, building their character with a good and solid Christian foundation. This is where the camps and social events “fits” in. While they are enjoying life and are in a relaxed environment we find it easier to discern their interactions with each other and their responses to different scenarios. It also develops their social skills and teach them the need for “me time”.

There are many activities at camp, but MOST important is that the Word of God is richly distributed & poured out into their hearts throughout the entire camp.
Through the loving & caring facilitators truths are explained and made simple for them to understand.
How does this benefit the children?
Besides for the massive growth in the children, we received huge testimonies annually of how the Holy Spirit touched them.
The kids enjoy it so much that they want to go again!
